Outside of the Office

Dr Fontaine is a native of Florida and was born nearby in Bradenton. He was introduced to his wife Melissa, by her father, who just happened to be an orthodontist. The blind date went well and they have been together for 37 years with three children and three grandchildren. All three children went into the medical field after graduating from Florida Universities. The family loves to travel and Dr Fontaine has seen close to 100 countries. He can converse in several languages so be sure to ask. Melissa also works at the Dunedin office, which her father built so it has special meaning to her. Besides travel, he is a member of the Innisbrook Golf Association with a recent "hole-in-one" and is an amateur chef (definitely ask about his recipes). Dr Fontaine also can fly airplanes and pilot boats. He actually holds a Master Captain license from the Coast Guard. Lastly, he has always been an athlete and hasn't stopped. Dr Fontaine has held several State and National records for powerlifting with another state record just this year. Hopefully, this will give you an idea of who he is and we can't wait to see you.

When he's not in the office, Dr. Fontaine enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Melissa, and their three children: Andrew, Tyler, and Elise. As a family, they love golfing, fishing, and staying active in their church and school community.

Dr. Fontaine has a deep appreciation for Florida’s great outdoors and enjoys spending his free time on the golf course or out on the water. He’s proud to provide exceptional orthodontic care to families in the community he calls home.
