Meet Dr. Ellis

Dr. Timothy Ellis is committed to providing his patients with excellent orthodontic treatment in a warm and caring atmosphere.

30 Years of Excellence

For nearly 30 years, he delivered the highest quality treatment to Polk County, and he is excited to be back! Dr. Ellis owned and operated three orthodontic offices in Bartow, Lake Wales, and Wauchula.

After his semi-retirement in 2015, Dr. Ellis continued to work in orthodontic research and development with a prominent orthodontic manufacturing company in Oregon.

During this time, he continued to see patients in a private practice setting and advanced current orthodontic techniques to a higher level.

Dr. Ellis graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Florida, graduating at the top of his class as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society.

Dr. Ellis earned his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Tennessee, one of the top orthodontic programs in the country.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Ellis is a native of Florida and lives in Lakeland with his wife, Lori. They have raised three amazing children, of whom they are very proud, and now have three grandsons who keep them on their toes.

Dr. Ellis loves traveling, golfing, and spending time with his family. He is thrilled to practice in Polk County again and is excited to join forces with Drs. Dietrich and Kelso. Together, they will continue to create the best smiles around!
