Central Florida Invisalign®
Your Clear Choice for a Straighter Smile
With clear aligners from Invisalign and Dietrich & Kelso Orthodontics, teens, adults, and children can get beautiful straight teeth without anyone noticing the treatment!
Like many people throughout Central Florida, it’s ok if you want to straighten your smile but don't love the thought of wearing traditional metal braces.
A Modern Approach
Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. So, you can smile more during treatment and beyond. Invisalign is made with 3D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective.
Invisalign clear aligners are invisible and removable, so you can eat and drink what you want during treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. The aligners are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
No metal and wires usually mean you spend less time in your doctor's office getting adjustments.
Invisalign also allows you to view your virtual treatment plan when you start to see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position your doctor has prescribed.
You'll visit our Central Florida office about every six weeks to ensure that your treatment progresses as planned.
Total treatment time averages 9-15 months, and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.
Invisalign Process
at Dietrich & Kelso Orthodontics
Dietrich & Kelso Orthodontics can use Invisalign to give you a stunning smile just like braces, but using a series of clear, custom-fit aligners.
Here’s how it works:
1. Come in for Your Smile Consultation
At your first free consultation, your orthodontist will sit with you to assess your smile and discuss your goals.
If Invisalign’s clear, removable aligners are the best solution to help you get the smile you want, we’ll review the treatment plans that best fit your needs and the available financial options.
2. Make a Plan
Our Dietrich & Kelso Orthodontics team will take digital images and X-rays of your teeth and use these to create your treatment plan.
We’ll design a personalized series of comfortable, removable aligners that will shift your teeth in stages towards a beautifully straight smile.
3. Wear Your Clear Aligners
You'll wear your Invisalign aligners as much as possible, but you can easily remove them for eating, flossing, and brushing.
You will need to visit our office for regular check-ups every four to six weeks to receive your new aligners and monitor the progress of your teeth. These appointments are usually fast and painless since there are no wires to adjust.
Ideal for Teens & Adults
At Dietrich & Kelso Orthodontics, we want our teen patients to be excited about starting their journey towards straighter teeth, and Invisalign helps us do that. At your first free consultation, you'll find out how Invisalign can be a good fit for your smile and lifestyle!
Whether you’re a musician, an athlete, a thespian, class president, or anything else, you’ll be able to participate in all your activities without the barrier that traditional braces might present.
And, since Invisalign aligners are made of clear plastic and almost invisible, your friends probably won’t even know you’re wearing them.

Braces Or Invisalign?
When it comes to Invisalign treatment, there's a lot to consider. Most Invisalign patients at Dietrich & Kelso Orthodontics enjoy shorter check-ups, fewer appointments, easier oral hygiene, and fewer emergency visits.
However, the system's biggest pro can also be a con—the fact that the aligners are removable. Your cooperation is essential, whether you have braces or Invisalign.
Since braces are attached to your teeth, they do the work to keep your treatment progressing. With Invisalign, you need to do a little more during your treatment so your trays can be successful.
You'll need to manage your wear time, keep your aligners clean, and swap them out for the next aligner in the series. You need to be sure that you can do this before committing to Invisalign treatment.
Like with traditional metal braces, Dietrich & Kelso Orthodontics recommends wearing a retainer after your Invisalign treatment to maintain your new alignment and your confident new smile.
